Adler - Irene Adler was an adversary and love interest of Sherlock
Billy - Billy assists in Sherlock's investigations.
Damian - Damian Adler was the son of Sherlock and Irene Adler in The Language of Bees
Diogenes - Diogenes club was a gentleman's club featured in the stories
Enola - Sister of Sherlock & Mycroft in The Enola Holmes Mysteries series
Eurus - Sister of Sherlock & Mycroft in Sherlock
Gladstone - Name of Sherlock's dog in Guy Ritchie's Sherlock Holmes movies
Holmes - Surname of Sherlock and Mycroft
Hudson - Sherlock Holmes' landlady
Irene - Irene Adler was an adversary and love interest of Sherlock

Seinfeld Pet Names

The sitcom Seinfeld ran for 9 seasons, from 1989 to 1998, and is now considered a classic. Most names were a little too normal to be creative pet names, but I've managed to find a few that would work for fans of the show. My favorites are Cosmo, Jerry and Puddy. Cosmo - Given Name of Kramer, Jerry's wacky neighbor
Costanza - Surname of George Costanza, friend of Jerry
George - Given name of George Costanza, friend of Jerry
Jacopo - J. Peterman's first name.
Jerry - Jerry Seinfeld, comedian and lead of the show
Klompus - Crabby neighbor of Jerry's parents in Florida.
Kramer - Surname of Cosmo Kramer, Jerry's wacky neighbor
Leo - Jerry's cantankerous uncle
Mickey - Mickey Abbott was an actor and friend of Kramer.
Morty - Jerry's father
Newman - Jerry's neighbor and enemy, Newman was a postman
Peterman - J. Peterman, boss of Jerry's friend, Elaine
Puddy - Surname of Elaine's boyfriend.

Downton Abbey Pet Names

These names come from the PBS series Downton Abbey. My personal favorites for a pet are Branson, Carson, Daisy, Donk and Tiaa. Share your favorites in the comments!

Abbey - Downton wouldn't work for a name, but Abbey could
Atticus - Husband of the family's cousin, Lady Rose MacClare
Barrow - Underbutler and schemer who reformed in the end
Bates - Surname of John, valet to Lord Grantham, and his wife, Anna, the ladies maid to Lady Mary.
Baxter - Ladies maid to Lady Grantham
Beryl - Given name of Mrs. Patmore, the cook at Downton
Branson - The chauffeur who married Sybil Crawley and became a member of the family
Carson - Butler of Downton.
Cassandra - Cassandra Jones was the pen name Septimus Spratt used for his agony column in The Sketch.
Cora - Lady Grantham's given name
Crawley - Family name of Lord Grantham. Great for a tarantula.
Daisy - Assistant cook at Downton.
Donk - Young Sibyl's nickname for her grandfather, Lord Grantham
Isis - One of Lord Grantham's dogs. Probably best to stay away from this one for a while.
Marigold - Illegitimate daughter of Lady Edith Crawley
Mason - Father in law of Daisy and tenant farmer at Downton.
Pharaoh - One of Lord Grantham's dog
Rosamund - Sister of Lord Grantham
Rose - Rebellious cousin of the family, Lady Rose Aldridge nee MacClare
Septimus - Given name of the Butler to the Dowager Countess of Grantham and column writer for a ladies magazine
Spratt - Surname of the Butler to the Dowager Countess of Grantham and column writer for a ladies magazine
Sybil - Daughter of Lord Grantham, and her daughter, often called Sibby
Tiaa - One of Lord Grantham's dogs
Violet - The sassy Dowager Countess of Grantham.
